The Brachter Mill and museum
The Brachter Mill dates back to the year 1855. In 1925, the wooden wings broke off in a heavy storm and an electric drive has since been installed. Grain was milled until 1970. Since 2003, the museum Trägerverein Heimatmuseum Brachter Mühle has been housed in the mill. The mill is now in fully functional condition and guided tours are given on several open days.
Exhibitions & events
Exhibitions on the history of the mill are also held at the Brachter Mill more frequently and it is a venue for various events in the municipality of Brüggen. For example, the popular Bracht Mill Festival takes place in October.
