The route follows the cycling node system, being the numbers 53-33-34-51-30-35-42-52-42-40-10-39-01-22-21-53. The route is cycled "clockwise". You can also deviate from the route to visit town centers and grab something to eat and drink. A portion of the route passes through Belgium. Furthermore, you will visit the white town of Thorn, the fortified town of Stevensweert where you will come across the Hompesche Mill and the fortifications, and you will cycle along the harbor of Maasbracht.

It provides additional information about the places you will pass along the way. The route is also depicted in the brochure. Additionally, open the Archeo Route Limburg app at each Archeo Route Limburg location to experience the stories behind the archaeological finds.

Use the route on your smartphone as your guide (instead of the aforementioned brochure). Click on the download button below to directly access the route in our route planner. Click on the "see and do" button below the map. Check the box for "Archeo location". This will display the locations of archaeological sites on the route. You can start the route immediately by navigating on your smartphone. Make sure to enable your GPS location. This way, you can see exactly where you are on the route.
